Literature and Signage Policy for the SD66 DFL caucuses

Each caucus location will have a Senate District 66 DFL site coordinator who must be consulted prior to posting or handing out any campaign material.

Campaign or issue signs outside the building must be on metal stands (lawn sign stands) and can be placed in the snow only.

No signs can be taped or fixed in any other manner to the exterior of the building or on doors inside the building. Signs can be taped only to unpainted brick or glass, and this must be done using blue painters' tape.

Campaigns will be billed directly by the school district if damage occurs.

Signs and stickers must be cleaned off all walls, glass or floors.

Note: If you used stickers, see the preceding two rules regarding your responsibility for damages and your use of something sticky other than painters' tape.

The Senate District DFL will not take down signs or remove stickers for any campaign—rather, we will instruct the schools to have their custodial staff do so and bill the campaign directly for the labor and materials.

The Senate District DFL has arranged for four (4) tables at each site for campaigns to use. Campaigns must share these tables and are responsible for cleaning them up after the caucus.

Precinct conveners will not hand out any campaign literature or any issue literature. Campaigns must distribute their own materials and must collect their leftover materials. Any literature left at the caucus sites will be recycled when the buildings close on February 5th.
